“No, it’s not about the money, Kurt!” Blaine sighed in frustration, his voice lowering as tears pricked at his eyes. “Don’t you understand what I’ve been trying to tell you? I do it because I’m in love with you.” He shook his head, his shoulders slumping in defeat as Kurt just stared at him. “I love you and you can’t even see it.”

He turned, hurrying down the hall, trying to blink back the tears as they began falling. God, he was so stupid, so stupid to think that someone like Kurt could ever feel the same way about stupid, nerdy him. And then to just blurt his feelings out like that? He was an idiot.

Blaine had almost made it to his car when someone suddenly caught his wrist, turning him around and then lips were covering his. He blinked, trying to focus on the startling blue eyes, so close to his, as Kurt pulled back, breathing heavily.
